Acceptable use

These rules apply to everyone who uses SYNRG — organizers, their collaborators, people in the room, and anyone using an API key or an assistant connected to SYNRG. They are part of the terms of service and the terms for people in the room.

Do not put into SYNRG

• Anything you do not have the right to use: other people's pictures, slides, text, music, or logos without permission.
• Anything unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that encourages violence.
• Personal information about someone without a lawful basis: private details, accusations, or content that identifies a person who did not agree to be identified.
• Government ID numbers, payment card numbers, bank details, passwords, or health information — SYNRG is not built to hold them, and organizers must not ask for them.
• Malware, scripts that interfere with the service, or links to any of the above.
• Spam, advertising, or solicitation aimed at a room that did not come for it.

Do not

• Impersonate anyone, or let someone use your account or key.
• Scrape, flood, probe, or try to get around rate limits, moderation, access controls, or the way links are scoped.
• Resell SYNRG or make it available as your own service.
• Use the public TEST room for anything but testing a setup. It is visible to anyone and is wiped regularly.
• Use an assistant or an API key to do anything the person who created it could not do.

What happens

The organizer of a room can hide or remove any submission and block access. SYNRG can remove content, close a room or an event, suspend or close an account, and report unlawful activity — with or without notice, depending on how serious it is. Accounts that repeatedly infringe other people's rights are closed.

To report content that breaks these rules, email events@synrg.live with the room or event code and what you saw. Copyright complaints follow the copyright and takedown process.
